Tom Voet
Software Engineer and Open Source Enthusiast
About
Hi, I'm a Software Engineer specializing in Full-Stack Development and DevOps, currently at KI Reply. I hold a BSc in Computer Science from DHBW Stuttgart, and my professional focus is building scalable systems that solve complex problems - from TypeScript frontends and backends down to infrastructure with Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
In my spare time, I'm the engineer and creator behind re;file labs, an independent open-source project with one goal: making the browser the safest place to handle files. Its privacy-first tools - image conversion, metadata editing, and more - run entirely client-side, built on Rust compiled to WebAssembly. Fast, transparent, serverless.
I'm also one of the founders of clubary, a platform where sports clubs run their own fan shops - merch produced on demand by regional print partners, with no inventory risk for the club.
Here, I share my experiences, insights, and the occasional deep dive into the technologies that excite me. Thanks for stopping by!
